You can add functionality to the left and right push of the mouse wheel. The scrolling wheel works four ways but there are times when that is a little uncomfortable to use considering the size of the mouse. Above the scrolling wheel you have a dedicated “Windows” button which when used with Windows 8 takes you to the start screen. The scrolling wheel has a rubberized finish, which feels nice and sturdy. The top has a glossy finish, which is a fingerprint and dust magnet.
